Death of Bainsford dad 'stabbed in neck' in Falkirk flat treated as 'unascertained'

A post mortem on a Bainsford dad who died after being released from hospital following an alleged knife attack has ruled the cause of death as “unascertained”.

Edward Graham, known as Eddie, was discharged from Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Sunday, May 31, having reportedly been stabbed in the neck in an early morning incident at a flat in Hayfield, Falkirk on Thursday, May 28.

The 28-year-old dad-of-two was found dead in Bainsford the day after he was released from the Larbert hospital.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Inquiries are still continuing.

"His death is being treated as unascertained, pending further investigation following a post mortem."

A GoFundMe page set up in memory of Eddie to help pay for a funeral and memorials has so far raised more than £3000.
