Youths threw heavy shop sign from top of Falkirk multi-storey car park

A heavy shop sign was thrown from the top of a multi-storey car park by a group of youths.

Police have launched an investigation after being alerted to the offence, which took place around 7.25pm on Sunday.

Officers say the sign was dropped from the upper levels of the Callendar Square car park in Falkirk.

Sergeant Alyn Blyth said: “This was a spectacularly dangerous thing to do.”

Anyone who has information connected to this crime is asked to contact police via 101.
