Youths attack man walking his dog

A gang of youths and three men are being hunted by police in connection with two assaults.

A man was punched in the face while he was out walking his dog on Friday at around 10.15pm outside the Sainsbury’s store in Crown Crescent.

The attack happened after a group of youths, male and female, were causing a disturbance inside the shop before turning their attention to the man who was a customer. He sustained minor injuries.

On Saturday, two men aged 47 and 20 were attacked by three men in Memorial Park in Bonnybridge.

The 47-year-old was punched in the head before being kicked while he lay on the ground. The 20-year-old was also punched to the head.

Police Scotland say inquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects and are appealing for anyone with information in relation to the attacks to call 101.
