Sheriff Christopher Shead deferred sentence on Carson, 67 Langton Road, Westquarter, until December 3 to allow a Caledonian domestic abuse programme assessment to take place.
The Caledonian programme is aimed at addressing domestic abuse by men towards a female partner or ex-partner. It works with men convicted of domestic abuse related offences to reduce their reoffending and improve the lives of women, children and the men themselves.
