Police had to be called out on two occasions to deal with David Walker (30) and his antics.

Walker appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pled guilty to the threatening behaviour he committed at an address in Redding Road, Westquarter on February 13.

Procurator fiscal depute Heather Galbraith said: “The accused was at this parent’s house. He was consuming alcohol and an argument broke out. As a result of this his parents contacted police.

“Officers attended and his parents were of a view they wished him to leave the premises to sober up – which he did.”

However, after the police left Walker returned.

“He was within the garden,” said the procurator fiscal depute. “He began shouting and swearing, demanding to get in the house, kicking and banging on the door. He said he would set fire to the house.

“Police were contacted again and found the accused sitting on neighbour’s steps.”

Defence solicitor Kevin Douglas said Walker had now returned to the family home at 14 Redding Road, Westquarter and there had been no further problems.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton placed Walker on a supervised community payback order for 12 months.

He said: “Clearly you need to behave in the meantime – if there is any repetition of this you might not be so fortunate on the next occasion.”
