Officers have been made aware of the incident after it was caught on video by a driver’s dashcam recorder and posted on Youtube.

The footage shows a motorcyclist in the inside lane appearing to shout at a driver before the man jumped out of his vehicle, ran round it and shoved the biker to the ground and then kicked him.

After the driver walks away the biker then walks round the vehicle and challenges the man in the road as cars behind are forced to remain stationary as the incident unfurls.

The video was taken at the Westfield roundabout which sits between Falkirk Stadium and Helix Park just before 5pm on Friday.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of a road rage incident that happened on Friday, July 29 in Stadium Way, Falkirk.

“Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
