A bomb disposal team has been investigating a suspicious device which led to a street in the village near Falkirk being cordoned off.

Police were executing a search warrant at business premises in Main Street, Camelon, in connection with a fraud investigation this afternoon when the discovery was made at computer shop Microtech 2000

“The appropriate partners are assisting with enquiries and the public are thanked for their patience.”

Vehicles and crews from the ambulance and fire services are also currently at the scene.

Buses are now being diverted via Glenfuir Road and Union Road as the area remains closed to traffic and members of the public are kept away from the scene.
