A mindless vandal wrecked the wing mirrors of four parked cars to cause a total of £750 worth of damage.
Stewart Adams (19) carried out his thoughtless destruction in James Street, Stenhousemuir, and police were called.
Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, Adams, 50 Hillary Toad, Stenhousemuir, previously admitted the malicious damage offences he committed on November 6 last year.
Sheriff Derek Livingston listened to the procurator fiscal depute Ann Orr as she totalled up the individual cost of the damage to the four car owners before he came to a decision on Adams’ punishment.
He told Adams to pay a £750 compensation order, with each of the four car owners getting what they were due, at a rate of £30 per week. He also fined Adams £150.
