Torwood Castle damaged as thieves steal historic large stones

An investigation has been launched after large stones were stolen from a centuries-old Falkirk district castle.

A section of wall at Torwood Castle, a grade A listed building which dates back to 1566, was also damaged during the theft.

Police say the incident took place at some point between July 1 and 18.
