Three charged with spate of housebreakings

Two men and woman have been arrested following a spate of housebreakings across Falkirk and Grangemouth this week.

The arrests came after properties in Falkirk town centre, Callendar Park, Zetland Park and Dundas Street were broken into over the past few days police say.

The men, aged 30 and 28, and the woman (45) were arrested and charged as a result following police enquiries.

Sergeant Lyne Rushford from the Community Investigation Unit said: “We recognise the impact that housebreaking has on our local communities and whenever these offences occur we carry out a thorough investigation to identify anyone responsible and bring them to justice.

“The public can help us in our efforts to tackle housebreaking by ensuring they have all the relevant security measures in place at their homes and commercial premises.
