Teen made threatening remarks on phone while on remand

A teenager who made threatening remarks during a telephone conversation while on remand must remain in his home between 8pm and 6am each night for the next four months.

Darren Stewart (18), 330 Watson Street, Motherwell, admitted that between January 28 and February 4 at HMYOI Polmont he engaged in behaviour towards his partner or ex partner by repeatedly phoning her when they were unwanted, attempted to manipulate her, uttered threats of violence, threats to kill himself and abusive remarks on bail.

At Falkirk Sheriff Court, Sheriff Mundy placed Stewart on a restriction of liberty order for four months.
