Stenhousemuir thug spat on female cop

An offender who assaulted a female police officer by spitting on her was said to be making good progress with his court order.

Alexander Brennan (49) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday having pleaded guilty to the assault and breach of the peace he committed at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, on April 30, 2019.

Sheriff Derek Livingston said he was happy with the progress Brennan, 14 Tryst Road, Stenhousemuir, was making with his community payback order.

The case was adjourned until May 5 for further review.
