A One Stop Shop is closed after vandals damaged the doors, meaning an essential service is unavailable.
The Stenhousemuir council office in Main Street is still closed after vandals attacked the doors at 11pm on Thursday night.
Police are now looking for three men in connection with the incident.
The shop provides information and advice on all council services including housing, finance and employment.
The office will reopen tomorrow morning at 9am, but customers can use the Falkirk Council website for information and or call (01324) 503340 with any urgent enquiries. Any finance enquiries should be directed to (01324) 506999.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “As part of our ongoing enquiries we are looking to trace three men in connection with this incident and are pursuing a positive line of inquiry.
“However, anyone who has relevant information or who can help identify the suspects is asked to come forward.”
The men are described as white and believed to be aged in their late teens or possibly early twenties. One of the suspects was wearing a red-coloured jacket with distinctive white sleeves and the other wore a black hooded top and jeans.
The men were seen loitering prior to and after the incident in Asda Stenhousemuir’s car park and anyone who remembers seeing them is asked to contact police on 101.
