Stenhousemuir man who made offensive remark to ex given custody warning

A man has paid the price for behaving threateningly towards his ex and making an offensive remark.

Sean Jackson, 9 Muirfield Road, Stenhousemuir, entered his then partner’s Stenhousemuir home on December 30, 2019 and acted in an aggressive manner by shouting, swearing and making an offensive comment.

Jackson appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday.

As he fined the 28-year-old £700, Sheriff Derek Hamilton said: “You did tender a plea somewhat late.

“If you don’t pay, you’ll go straight into custody.”
