Staff at a Grangemouth newsagent held at knife point
An attempted robbery took place at a newsagent in Grangemouth this afternoon with a female shop worker reportedly being threatened at knifepoint during the terrifying incident.

WS Frew, on the corner of Central Avenue and Newlands Road, fell victim to the crime just after 3pm, one reportedly armed with a large knife.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 35 and 37, have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a shop in Newlands Road, Grangemouth.”
