Safe nights out in Falkirk

Officers will be in Falkirk town centre this weekend to ensure people have a safe night out.

Officers from the Community, Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit (CAVRU) will be dweekend policing plan.

They will be visiting licensed premises in and around the town centre to support managers, door stewards and other staff in keeping their customers safe.

Police constable Derek Speckamp of the CAVRU at Falkirk said “We enjoy a positive working relationship with the various licensed premises in Falkirk town centre and work closely with them each weekend.

“Our main focus is making sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable night.

“We will actively seek to keep the peace but will respond robustly to any disorder or violence that occurs.”
