Official figures from Police Scotland show that more than 22,000 people were stopped and searched from April to September.
That was a 2 per cent decrease in comparison to the same period in 2019.
In Falkirk, 543 people were stopped and searched – a rate of 337 per 100,000 people.
Police found something such as drugs or a weapon in 45 per cent of these incidents, while 55 per cent were negative searches.
Police Scotland said stop and search contributes to the prevention, investigation and detection of crime in communities.
