'Restless' Camelon offender shouted and swore at Forth Valley Royal Hospital

An offender who “succumbed to a drug problem” was said to be “restless" and “agitated” before she began walking around Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH) shouting and swearing the place down.

Katlynn Brown (23) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having admitted behaving in a threatening manner at FVRH on February 15 last year.

Procurator fiscal depute Rachel Wallace said: “It was 8am and, shortly after she arrived at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, the accused became very restless and agitated. She was seen walking around shouting and swearing, while other patients and members of the public were present.

“Police attended at the hospital.”

Simon Hutchison, defence solicitor, said: “She had succumbed to a drug problem which is the catalyst in her offending.”

Sheriff Christopher Shead placed Brown on a restriction of liberty order to stay in her 169 Carmuirs Avenue, Camelon home between the hours of 7pm and 7am each day for the next three-and-a-half months.
