Reports of police activity in Falkirk sports club park

There have been reports of a police presence in the car park Falkirk Victoria Harriers clubhouse tonight.

According to an eyewitness a number of uniformed police officers gathered outside the Thornhill Road premises, which is nearby Victoria Park.

She said: "There were police in uniform and what looked like plain clothes officers with them, searching cars in the car park.”

The Falkirk Herald is still awaiting a response from Police Scotland tonight to find out if there was some sort of police operation taking place at the location.
