Redding faker lied to police about being assaulted

Gavin McDougall (23) failed to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to wasting police time in Alexandra Street, Tillicoultry on October 26, 2020.

The charge stated McDougall made an emergency call and told officers he had been assaulted.

It was stated McDougall, 28 Kirkwood Avenue, Redding, did not appear at court because people made threats against him the night before and one of them was going to be present at court when he was.

Sheriff Derek Livingston continued the case until June 17.
