Police searching for not-so-gentle giant dog walker after Falkirk park incident

A six foot five inch ginger haired dog walker turned nasty when a picnicking family challenged him about the conduct of his four huskies.

Police Scotland is now appealing for information after the family were verbally abused by the dog walker at 3.20pm on Easter Monday, April 5 at Muiravonside Country Park.

PC Jim Carr said: “The family were within the picnic area, when they were approached by a man who made threats to assault them after he was challenged regarding the conduct of his dogs.

“The family were unhurt but shocked by the man’s behaviour.”

The man, who was walking four husky dogs at the time, is 6ft 5ins, of stocky build, with ginger hair and beard. He was wearing black boots, dark blue combat trousers, a khaki green hooded top with a zip up the front which zipped up over his face and a green camouflaged skip hat.
