Police say no threat from '˜bomb' package
Police Scotland issued a statement today saying their investigations of the Microtech 2000 store in Camelon’s Main Street were now complete.
Last Wednesday the street was sealed off for over three hours after the discovery of what police said was “a suspicious package”.
It followed the execution of a search warrant.

Hide AdAll the emergency services raced to the scene and the Royal Logistics Corps carried out checks using a bomb disposal and detection robot.
A police spokesman said: “A device which was recovered during the warrant has been examined and has been confirmed to be a fuel cell unit. This had no criminal purpose and posed no threat to public safety.
“We have spoken to the owner of the premises who has cooperated fully with us regarding this. We can confirm there are no further police enquiries to be carried out.”
They added the original fraud investigation is being continued by investigators from a partner agency.
