Police investigating serious assault near Grangemouth High School

A 38-year-old man was rushed to hospital following an attack near Grangemouth High School in the early hours.

Officers cordoned off the pathway that runs between Scougall Street and the school and, reportedly, a section of nearby Garry Place.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4am on Saturday, February 27, we received a report of a serious assault in Tinto Drive, Grangemouth. A 38-year-old man suffered serious injury and was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
