Police hunt pervert who exposed himself to teenage girls in two incidents

Police are investigating two separate incidents which occurred where a man has indecently exposed himself to teenage girls on rural roads.

The first incident took occurred in Doune around 3.15pm yesterday, when a 14-year-old girl was walking along Argaty Road, Doune. A man got out of a dark coloured car and indecently exposed himself. The girl was disturbed by the incident and made her way home and the matter was reported to police

A second incident occurred in Myothill Road in Denny. Around 6.50pm, also yesterday, two 14-year old girls were walking along the road, when they walked towards a dark coloured car parked in a layby. As the girls passed, the man got out the car and exposed himself. The incident has left the girls very upset.

Officers attended both incidents and extensive searches of the areas were carried out.

On each occasion the male perpetrator was seen to be driving a black or grey Mercedes or similar type vehicle, possibly an Audi.

Detective Inspector Rob Andrews said: “I know these incidents will be a cause of concern for our local communities but I would like to reassure members of the public that we are working hard to establish the identity of the perpetrator. Despite these incidents occurring in semi-rural areas, we will be checking CCTV footage out with these locations for any further information on the car. If anyone has any information or knowledge about these incidents please contact us. Even the smallest piece of information could prove vital in our investigation.”
