Police hunt Falkirk flasher

Police are appealing for witnesses after two reports of public indecency in Falkirk on Hogmanay.

The first incident occurred around 3.10 p.m. in Slamannan Road, at a layby outside the Treddinoch Care Home.

A motorists stopped to ask directions from a woman walking in the area. As she approached the vehicle she saw him performing a sex act before he drove off.

About 10 minutes later, a woman got off a bus at the top of Glenbrae. As she began walking towards Hallglen a car pulled up beside her and when the driver asked for directions she saw him performing a sex act.

He then drove off towards the Hallglen Roundabout and towards the Lionthorn Estate.

Police believe both incidents are linked and are urging anyone who can help track down the car driver to get in touch,

He is white, early 20s, short dark hair with a side parting and slim build. He was wearing a dark shirt.

The car was described as a red hatchback with faded paintwork and the rear registration plate was either obscured or missing.

Detective Sergeant Kenny McAndrew said: “Neither victim was assaulted or threatened during this incident but both were left very upset by the man’s actions.”
