Police charge naked man

A man accused of walking naked along a busy Falkirk street was arrested by police last night.

Concerns from the public alerted police to a man with no clothes walking up and down Main Street in Bainsford at around 8.45pm on Tuesday with a bunch of flowers in his hand.

A video of the incident was posted on Twitter by @BeckahOx earlier this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man was arrested in Falkirk on Tuesday, June 28 after several members of the public reported seeing a naked male walking on Main Street at around 8.45pm.

“Local officers acted swiftly and can reassure the public that they were not at risk of any harm.”
