Police bid to tackle Larbert problems

Spot checks on off-sales and tours of local trouble spots are key objectives of this weekend's anti-social behaviour patrols staged in Larbert.

Members of the Community, Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit (CAVRU) are involved alongside police in the latest bid to tackle problems highlighted by the public.

PC Lee Strang of Larbert community policing team said: “We value the information, concerns and feedback provided to us by community members.

“The patrols being carried out this evening are a response to this information, those concerns and the feedback and we are grateful for the support that we get from our local communities.”
