Oxford offender wandering Falkirk streets with an axe

A man drew the attention of the police when he was seen walking around carrying an an axe.

Dominic Brown (46), who lives in Oxford, failed to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday after pleading guilty to having possession of an axe in Wallace Street, Falkirk on May 15.

The court heard Brown was having “financial difficulties” which prevented him from attending.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton deferred sentence on Brown until January 21 and called for his personal appearance at court.
