Offender hurls racist abuse at officers during journey to Falkirk Police Station

Stuart Clark (30) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to acting in a racially aggravated manner – shouting, swearing and making racist remarks towards police officers – on a journey between Invertrossachs Road, Callander and Falkirk Police Station on March 13, 2020.

The court heard Clark had “lost his ability to rationalise” and “lost control” at police officers who were making an inquiry about a vehicle.

Sheriff Christopher Shead ordered Clark, 29 High Street, Newarthill, to complete 180 hours unpaid work within 12 months.
