Police have confirmed there are no “apparent suspicious circumstances” following the discovery of a body at an address in the Thornhill Road area of Falkirk at the weekend.
The death of the 30-year-old, who has not been named, was reported at around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
A post mortem examination has now been completed and a Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Enquiries are still ongoing and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal, however there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
“The public were of great assistance during this investigation which is much appreciated.”
Officers who appealed for witnesses who may have been in the area between 5 p.m. last Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday to come forward after reports of a disturbance in a block of flats said the death was being treated as unexplained.
