Mum's anger after teenagers steal 11-year-old autistic daughter's birthday bike in Stenhousemuir

An enraged and disgusted mother took to social media today to try and get people to help her find the Windgoo electric bike stolen from her autistic daughter by teenagers in a thoughtless crime last night.

The incident happened in the Lido area, near James Street, Stenhousemuir and police have reportedly been informed.

The mum stated: “My 11-year-old autistic daughter got this electric bike from her dad for her birthday next week. She got pushed off it down the Lido park by teenage boys last night and one stole it and went away with it.

"if anyone in Stenhousemuir sees this bike lying around could they give us a private message please. It’s electric and would’ve ran out not long after being taken so maybe it has been dumped somewhere.

"My daughter is really upset so I’m hoping to try to get it back to her and the police are now looking for it too.”
