Missing Forth Valley woman and son found

A Forth Valley mum and her three-year-old son who were reported missing have been traced safe and well.

Police had issued an appeal to the public to help find Heather Fraser and her son Jack Meldrum, who were reported missing from their Sauchie home on Monday, July 27.

They had last been seen at around 3.15pm on Friday, July 24 at Stirling train station.

Police Scotland has now confirmed they have been found.

A spokesperson said: “Heather and Jack have been traced in the Bolton area and are safe and well.”

They added their thanks to members of the public for their assistance with the appeal.
