Falkirk Sheriff Court heard last week that traces of illicit substances were found on two sets of scales while three mobile phones were seized and these contained incriminating information.

A defence agent said McClung had secured drugs for friends and insisted he was not making money from dealing.

Sheriff John Mundy ordered McClung to do 120 hours of unpaid work as a “direct alternative” to a prison sentence.
