Man who died in Falkirk incident is named by police as Alexander 'Alastair' Gray

Police have named the man fatally injured after an incident in Graham’s Road yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Grahams Road at around 10.45am, following a report of concern for one of the occupants.

A 73-year-old man was found with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He can be named as Alexander Alastair Gray (known as Alastair) from Falkirk. His family are aware.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

"They have asked that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what’s happened.

“We are satisfied that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.”
