Man charged over Falkirk area farm break-ins

A man has been charged in connection with a spate of break-ins at farm properties in Falkirk district.

The 23-year-old was expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court yesterday in relation to housebreaking ofences in Falkirk, Larbert and Denny, as well as Fife, on May 24 and 25.

Three others have also been reported over the incidents.

PC Douglas Cole, of Forth Valley Priority Crime Team, said: “This arrest is a good result and we'd like to thank the community for their assistance in this inquiry, and want to reassurance the public that we treat these crimes as a priority and will continue to tackle them robustly.
