Man charged over death of another man in Redding property

A man has been charged in connection with the death of another man in Redding.

Police were called to an address in Overton Crescent on Wednesday night following an incident which left a 66-year-old man in a “serious condition”.

The victim died shortly afterwards and a man (38) was arrested by officers.

He is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.

Chief Inspector Chris Stewart, Falkirk Area Commander, said: “Around 9.30pm on Wednesday, June 24, Police Scotland received reports of concern for a person within a property on Overton Crescent in Redding.

“Emergency services attended and a 66-year-old man was found in a serious condition and pronounced dead a short time later.

"A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death."
