A man charged with driving in Falkirk town centre when unfit through drink or drugs is expected to appear in court this month.

Grant Caldwell is alleged to have committed the offence in Upper Newmarket Street on July 6, 2020.

Caldwell (32), of 31 Park Road, Blackridge, was due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday but failed to show.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton continued the matter until February 25 for Caldwell’s personal appearance and ordered a Criminal Justice Social Work report.
