At Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday he was placed on a two-year supervised community order with the added condition he attend the Caledonian domestic abuse programme.
Martin, who is currently serving a prison sentence and due for release on July 14, was warned the sentence is a direct alternative to more custody.
