Man arrested after Linlithgow Bridge disturbance

Police were called to a disturbance in Linlithgow Bridge last night.

Officers attended a disturbance last night

Officers, including an armed response team, attended a property in Avon Drive at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Nobody was injured and a 25-year-old man was arrested following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that an 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a disturbance at a property at Avon Drive in Linlithgow.

“The incident was reported to police shortly before 6.30pm on Tuesday, July 28.

“Nobody was injured.

“The incident was contained to within a single property and there was no wider risk to the public.”
