Man and teens arrested over two assaults in Falkirk street

A man and a pair of teenagers have been charged in connection with two assaults in Falkirk.

The first attack took place in Grahams Road at around 7.15pm on Saturday, when a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by four men.

The second incident followed a short time later in the same street, where a 51-year-old man was attacked.

A 21-year-old man and two boys, both aged 17, were arrested and are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.

Inquiries are continuing to trace a fourth man. Police say he is described as of Asian appearance, aged 21 to 40, 5ft 9ins and was wearing dark clothing.

Detective Inspector Rob Andrews, of Falkirk CID, said: “We are continuing to appeal to anyone in the area at the time of these incidents who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.

“Anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3934 of Saturday, June 20, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
