A man allegedly pulled a knife on police and then headbutted an officer.

The 53-year-old has been charged with assault and threatening police with a knife in connection with an incident in David’s Loan, Bainsford on Friday evening.

No-one was injured during the incident.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
