Man allegedly committed assault at Falkirk home and stole car

A man was arrested for allegedly stealing a car, trying to force his way into a Falkirk home and assaulting the occupants.

Police were called to a property in Firs Street around 11pm on Tuesday where a 20-year-old is said to have attacked residents.

He is also alleged to have challenged officers to fight, spat at them, resisted arrest and uttered racist abuse.

The man was expected to appear in court yesterday.
