Man (28) arrested after early morning disturbance in Grangemouth

An incident which occurred in the early hours of the morning in Grangemouth’s Bowhouse Road has seen a 28-year-old-man arrested by police.

Arriving in the street in a police van accompanied by a Falkirk Council building maintenance worker just after 1am today, officers entered the property and spend almost an hour inside.

Police returned just after 8am this morning to obtain information from residents at neighbouring properties.

It is believed the incident was domestic in nature.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a report of threatening behaviour in the area of Bowhouse Road in Grangemouth at around 3am today.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear in court at a later date."
