Catherine Cameron (40), also known as Collins, did not appear at Falkirk Sheriff last Thursday because her son had been sent home from school.
She admitted the assault she committed at her home 5 Bethesda Grove, Maddiston, on January 19, 2019.
Sheriff Derek Hamilton said: “She’s by no means a first offender and throughout all this has messed everyone around.”
He fined Cameron £600 to be paid back at £50 per month.
