Langlees heroin addict jailed after stealing meat from Falkirk store
A heroin addict who twice stole meat from a Falkirk supermarket has been jailed.
Christopher Roy (35), 9 Tay Street, Langlees, admitted pinching £60 of product, as well as a basket, from Tesco Express in Camelon Road on September 20 this year.
He again stole a quantity of meat, worth £59.55, from the same store on September 23 and, on both occasions, breached a bail condition requiring him to stay at home between 11.30am and 8.30am.
Roy appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday via a prison video link.

Procurator fiscal depute Sarah Smith told the court neither meat bundle was recovered.
Defence solicitor Gordon Addison said: “He is responding to a drug treatment and testing order after an adult lifetime of drug abuse.
“He accepts responsibility for what he has done.”
Sheriff Derek Livingston, who said Roy had received five bail orders, imprisoned him for four months, backdated to September 25 when he was first taken into custody.
