Worse the wear for alcohol, Jamie Lever (32) turned to his partner and said “why should I?” when he was asked why he had not tidied the house as he was asked to. The encounter ended out in the street with him calling her derogatory names.
He appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday having admitted behaving in a threatening manner at an address in Almond Street, Grangemouth, on June 11.

Hide AdRebecca Reid, procurator fiscal depute, said: “It was 11.30am and the accused was in the address drinking alcohol. The witness had asked him to tidy the house before she returned.
"She asked him why he hadn’t done this. He replied ‘why should I?’ and continued to shout and scream at the witness, placing her in a state of fear and alarm. She left the premises with the accused following her outside, shouting towards her ‘you’re a cheating cow’.
"She then contacted police.”
The court heard Lever’s last domestic offence took place back in 2012 with a different partner.
“It just means he is capable of falling out with more than one person,” observed Sheriff Derek Livingston.

Hide AdHe placed Leven, 4 Beechwood Crescent, Wishaw, on a supervised community payback order for 18 months with the condition he complete 40 hours unpaid work within 12 months.
Sheriff Livingston said it was not necessary to impose a non-harassment order in this case.
