House arrest looking likely for Falkirk shoplifter

Diane Graham (33) was excused for not attending Falkirk Sheriff Court yesterday due to social workers failing to carry out a report on her.

Graham, 42 Hawley Road, Falkirk, previously pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol from Tesco, Glasgow Road, Camelon on June 30 last year.

The court heard the social worker carrying out the report had not been available to do so.

Sheriff Derek Livingston deferred sentence on Graham for two weeks to obtain the criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.
