HMYOI Polmont inmate attacked fellow offender using pool cue

An offender will learn his fate after attacking a fellow inmate with a pool cue.

Dylan Hastings (20), 180a Glenhove Road, Cumbernauld, has admitted assaulting a prisoner at HMYOI Polmont on September 10 last year by striking him with the object and repeatedly punching his head and body.

Sheriff Derek Livingston adjourned matters until August 29 for a report.
