The theft of the Kersiebank Community Project vehicle registration number NJ61 YYW, which occurred at some point overnight in the Bo’ness area, has now been reported to police.

In the meantime the charity, which delivers food and other items to help residents in need from its base in the town’s La Porte Precinct, is appealing to people to help them find some alternative transport.

A project spokesperson said: “We have deliveries of furniture which now sadly we cannot deliver. Now we are worried about our deliveries – we have deliveries of food to go out to local schoolchildren and families in need.

“This is at least 30 deliveries of food parcels on Tuesday and more on Thursday.”
