Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, Lambie had admitted being concerned in the supply of the class B drug at her 57 Beauly Court, Hallglen home between January 1 and July 11 last year.

“When asked if there was any drugs in the house she said ‘there’s a bit of weed’. A search was carried out and a box containing a green herbal substance was found in the living room.

“The accused said ‘that’s mine’.”

The procurator fiscal depute added the search also uncovered digital scales and the value of cannabis recovered was £1214.

Lynn Swan, defence solicitor, said Lambie had co-operated fully with police, stating she had bought the drugs in bulk to get a reduced price.

She added: “There had been social supply to a couple of her friends and a relative to fund her own habit she had at the time. She has since addressed that difficulty and is no longer using cannabis herself.”

Sheriff Christopher Shead placed Lambie on a restriction of liberty order to stay in her home between 7pm and 7am for the next four months.
